REIKI

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle, non-invasive form of energy healing that originated in Japan.  The word Rei means ‘universal’ and Ki means ‘life energy’.  Reiki is based on the principle that life force energy flows through all living things, and when this flow is balance and strong, we experience greater wellbeing.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just about the body, allowing this universal energy to flow.  Clients often describe the experience as deeply calming, restorative, and nurturing.
