As an integrated therapy practitioner, I work with a range of gentle, plant-based approaches to support balance and wellbeing. Two of the most popular natural remedies I use are flower essences and essential oils. Although both come from plants, they are very different in how they are prepared, how they work, and the kinds of support they offer.
My aim as a practitioner is to offer safe, natural tools that support your unique needs. Whether you are drawn to the subtle emotional support of flower essences or the restorative qualities of essential oils, these therapies can help you create a safe space for balance, resilience, and self-care in everyday life.
Flower Essences
Flower essences are subtle remedies made by infusing blossoms in spring water (usually in sunlight but I have also used some beautiful moon infused essences) and preserving their energetic imprint. They do not carry the scent or chemical properties of the flower, instead, they hold the vibrational energy of the flower, which is believed to gently influence our emotional and energetic stage.
How flower essences may support you:
Easing stress, worry, or emotional tension
Encouraging calmness and resilience in challenging times
Supporting confidence, focus, and a more positive outlook
Promoting inner balance during periods of change or personal growth
Gentle enough for adults, children, and even pets
Flower essences are often chosen when you are seeking emotional support or a sense of harmony in your daily life.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are highly concentrated aromatic extracts distilled from flowers, leaves, bark, or seeds. They capture the plant’s natural aromatic compounds, which work on both a physical and emotional level.
How essential oils may support you:
Calming the mind and body to encourage relaxation and better sleep
Lifting mood and restoring energy when you feel low or tired
